Enter the new code and type a new password for your account. Then, click Log In. TikTok passwords must be 8-20 characters, and must contain numbers, letters, and special characters for security purposes. After creating a new password, click Log In.
To recover a banned TikTok account, proceed to the next step.
Did you receive a notification about a content violation? If the video you posted was removed, it may be due to a violation of TikTok's Community Guidelines. Take this seriously, as repeated violations can result in your account being banned or suspended. In some cases, you may no longer be able to recover your account if you repeatedly violate the guidelines set by TikTok.
If your account has been banned, you may be able to recover it by submitting an appeal. To do this, open the notification sent by TikTok and click Appeal, then follow the instructions provided. You will also have the option to download your data, which we strongly recommend. After you submit your appeal, TikTok will review it, and if your account was suspended or banned by mistake, it can be fully restored.
Did you delete your TikTok account? You can easily recover a deleted TikTok account by logging back in. However, note that you may only have 30 days to recover your account.
After changing your password, you should be able to get back to using TikTok right away. And once your appeal is approved, your account is reinstated, and you can start using TikTok. All strikes applied to your account will also be removed. Be sure to follow the community guidelines to avoid another suspension from TikTok. Also, be sure to keep your TikTok account secure to prevent unauthorized access. Create a strong password and consider adding a passkey to secure your account. Never share your login details as well. GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
