If you've forgotten your password and the birthdate linked to your PlayStation account, you may need to reset your password using your email address. Follow the prompts on the account recovery page. If you cannot access the email or remember the birthdate, you may have to provide additional information to verify your identity. To log back into your PlayStation account, simply select the account icon on the home screen, then enter your account credentials, including your email and password. If you've forgotten your password, use the “Forgot your password?” option to reset it. Follow the instructions provided to regain access to your account.

To request a refund for a purchase made by your son in error, you need to initiate the process through the PlayStation Store. To add custom funds to your PS5, go to the PlayStation Store. From the main menu, select your profile icon and then choose "Funds." You can then choose to add funds using a credit/debit card, or PlayStation gift cards. If you opt for gift cards, enter the code provided to redeem the funds. Once completed, the balance will be available for purchases in the store.

We cannot create a new account for you if you have forgotten the email and password associated with your PS5 account. You can follow the account recovery options available on the official PlayStation website to regain access to your existing account.
