This guide explains PlayStation's refund and cancellation policy on pre-ordered content, including games. Users are limited to refunds within the first two weeks of the purchase and are ineligible for a refund if they download any of the content. Additionally, if refunds cannot be sent to the original payment method, they will be added to your PSN Wallet.
Within the PlayStation store, you can find a plethora of digital media to enjoy, ranging from console themes to full games. Users can also pre-order content, which allows you to purchase the game before release and play it as soon as it finishes downloading on release day. You may wish to cancel a pre-ordered game from Playstation. Here's how to do that.
You can cancel your pre-orders in the PlayStation Store within 14 days of the day of payment and the day of release. This means you cannot start to download the main part of your pre-order, including any pre-loading before release.
If you ordered pre-order content more than 14 days before the release date, you can only get a refund within those first two weeks, even if you didn't download any content.
Note: If your pre-ordered content starts downloading, you can not get a refund even if it was paid for less than two weeks prior. This means if you set your order to automatically download, you'll want to disable that, just in case.
Keep in mind: If there is extra content besides the main part of the pre-order content made available before the main content, you'll no longer be able to access any of these extras if you cancel your order.

Your refund will go back to the original payment method. Unfortunately, refunds are unavailable for the following payment methods, and instead, the refund will be sent to your PlayStation Network Wallet for store credit:
