How Do I Book a Trip with Hilton Hotels?

Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, Hilton Hotels offer excellent rooms at affordable rates, and you can save even more on room rates as a Hilton Honors member. How do you book your trip with Hilton Hotels? Making a Hilton Hotels Reservation

There are several ways a person can reserve a room at a Hilton Hotel: online, through the mobile app, via telephone, at a Hilton location, or through a travel agent.

Online Reservations

Hilton Honors reservations can be made online by doing the following:

  1. Open Hilton Hotel's website in your browser.
  2. Log into your Hilton Honors' account or sign up for one if you don't already have one.
  3. Type the destination in the search box labeled "Where to."
  4. Click on the dates to set the timeframe for the visit.
  5. Set the number of rooms and guests.
  6. Click "Special Rates" to search using points or for other special rates such as AARP, AAA or government rates. Note: government travelers must show official travel orders to get this rate.
  7. Click "Find a Hotel" to see options.
  8. Hit "View Rates" for the hotel you wish to stay at.
  9. Select the room and rate that best suits your needs.
  10. Click "Book" to start the booking process for the room selected.
  11. Add payment information requested.
  12. Click "Book Reservation" to hold a room for you.

Mobile App Reservations

To make a reservation through the app, do the following:

  1. Open the app on your phone or table.
  2. Log into your Hilton Honor's account if you have one, or sign up for a free Hilton Honor's account.
  3. Tap the search bar to enter your destination.
  4. Add dates for your stay.
  5. Select the hotel you wish to stay at.
  6. Tap "See Available Rooms" to pick the type of room or suite you want.
  7. Click "More Rates" to pick the rate that works best for you and tap the rate you wish to pay.
  8. Make sure your payment details are up to date and add information requested.
  9. Tap "Book Now" to hold the room.

Other Booking Options

Other options for booking a room include calling customer support here and providing details on your trip, including your Hilton Honors number, to the reservation clerk. If you are getting a travel package through a travel agent, you can request a room at the Hilton as well, and can use your Hilton Honors membership if you have one. Finally, while not ideal, you can go to the front desk at any Hilton Hotel and see if there are any rooms available and make a booking on the spot.
