A set of detailed instructions for requesting compensation from Frontier for the damage by phone, by mail, and online are also provided.
If you book a flight on Frontier Airlines and found your checked baggage damaged when you arrive at your destination, it is very important that you take action right away. Frontier has a very short window of time to take action for damaged baggage.
Frontier's Damaged Baggage Policy
If your baggage is damaged, you need to find a Frontier representative within 4 hours of arrival and report the damage to him or her. If you do not make the report within 4 hours, Frontier will not consider compensating you. If you could not report the damage to a representative directly for some reason, you can also call the Central Baggage Office at (303) 542-1490 and make your report to them.
Frontier will not offer compensation if your baggage was stuffed beyond its capacity. They will also not offer compensation small scratches, dents, and tears that happen as an ordinary part of wear and tear during baggage handling. No compensation is offered for carry on bags.
If the Frontier representative determines that the damage was the airline's fault after examining the baggage, you will be able to request compensation for the damage.

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Frontier Airlines in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What Do I Do If My Baggage Was Damaged with Frontier Airlines? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
