I have been an ebay member for over ** years with almost two thousand transactions completed and a ***% positive feedback record This is **this is the first and only time I have felt the need to communicate an issue I'm having that is negatively affecting my shopping on ebay**I want to express my extreme dissatisfaction with two new ebay listing practices that I have noticed over the last few months. These changes in **the ebay buyers' experience are unwelcomed, and I believe are misleading and possibly even fraudlent as they represent a disconnect between **what is presented to be, verses what is actually provided. So much so that they have the effect of limiting my shopping and purchases on ebay **because they hinder my ability to find the item I want as quickly as possible. Because of that, I ignore and disregard any listings that appear with **either of the following features in my ebay search results.***. In a search with "PRICE * SHIPPING LOWEST FIRST" selected as the sorting prority, where a sellers' listing does not appear in the proper **order and instead and appears far higher in the search results than other listings at a lower price. I understand that these offending listings **carry a "SPONSORED" tag, but not only is the tag "greyed-out" to make it less obvious, but the placement of these higher priced items above **lower priced ones, degrades the value and quality of shopping on ebay by negating the validity of the search terms that had been selected. The **search is rendered practically useless as it results in my doubting the accuracy of the search results for all the listings that follow. The insertion **of these sponsored listings out of order hinders my ability to find the item I want quickly and easily. ***. Search listings with multiple price points including a "low-ball" price which does not apply to the item(s) shown in the listing's photos or to the **searched for item. Example: the search results will show a photo of the searched item with a price such as "**c to $**.**", but the **c price **does not apply to the item of interest, but applies only to some totally unlike item with no relation to either the photo in the search results or the **searched for item itself. This is the frustrating discovery when more time is wasted in reviewing the listing's details only to find that the seached **for item may not be available at any price or is marked as "sold-out" and only an unrelated item is offered at the low-ball price. In my opinion, this **is nothing less than a "bait and switch" and is highly offensive. Simply stated, if a listing appears in a specific search result with a photo of the **searched for item, the price shown should be for that item and not for some other item that is not shown and was not seached for.**It has come to the point that when encountering either of such listings, to protect myself from wasted time and effort, I ignore them immediately **without further consideration as my experience has been the they NEVER offer the item I am looking for at the best price. They are also **distracting and a time waster. Because I do not wish to support any seller that is listing items that include these features and as a form of protest, **I have and will continue to refuse to buy from them at any time. I'm sure that other buyers have come to the same conclusion and if they respond **the way I do, by avoiding all listings from these sellers, then sellers should be reconsidering the value of using these intrusive listing features.**I understand that ebay has the right of offer sellers any features they like and can organize search results in any way they choose, but as a **buyer, the less relative, accurate and transparent the search results are, the more I am inclined to shop somewhere else. This issue is not **exclusive to ebay as there are other websites I have visitied where I encountered unsatisfactory search functions, and these sites I avoid for that **reason..**Thank you for allowing me to share for your consideration some issues I have encountered as an ebay buyer. I would be happy to hear from you **if you have and questions or feedback
