Unable to unmute an account

Help with my Twitter issue

unmute an account ... I want to unmute an account that I recently muted, but am having trouble. Every time I try to unmute the account on my iPhone app, it comes up with an "X" saying "forbidden". When I tried online on my laptop, it says, "Sorry! We did something wrong." I have tried everything and have looked online for help but have seen that no one else has experienced this problem.
Others have not had this problem and I am unaware as to why my account will not let me unmute this account.
I want twitter to help me be able to unmute this account.
I have been a twitter member for about *** years and have never experienced anything like this.
I have tried looking online to see if this is a problem that others have experienced and have found nothing on a situation like this. I tried unmuting the account in as many ways as possible and have had zero success.
