The issue in GetHuman-ihartlin's own words
Ordered a suitcase, Fitbit, and towel set the Thursday before Black Friday. Fitbit was $***.** with $** Kohl's Cash. $**.** suitcase with additional $** rebate. Towels were $**.**. Received an email ** hours after original purchase attempt (didn't see it until Sunday, I work a lot) that my order couldn't be completed and needed to call customer service. I was on the phone for over an hour with two different CSRs, neither of which could tell me why my order couldn't be completed. One said it "might have been a stock issue", which makes little sense to me as when ordering I could see if the items were available in the three nearest stores to me. Second CSR told me she needed to reorder for me and that the original colors weren't available for the luggage and towel set. Did NOT tell me I would be paying the price of what they were offering that day instead of Black Friday prices. I was frustrated that I was on the phone forever and I used two different payment methods (gift card and my credit card) so when she told me the total it didn't sound correct but I wasn't sure. After I get off the phone I get an email showing the items priced and the towel set was now $**.** and the luggage $**.**. I did not receive the $** Kohl's Cash I originally accumulated ($** as advertised with the Fitbit plus the $** for over ** on the other two items). I did not receive $** rebate for the luggage as advertised. If I had caused this error, I would understand having to pay the additional almost $** and not getting the rebate*Kohl's cash but this was not my error. I emailed the "ask a question" team once and got a generic email saying basically I couldn't be helped. I would not have ordered at least the luggage at this price difference, the CSR did NOT explain this to me and this needs resolved. I am very patient and don't usually complain but I am getting screwed out of a decent amount of money and Kohl's cash here where I should have just been able to pick different color options the first order attempt with the Black Friday prices if the issue was actually that they were out of stock.*New order ************Original ***********
