The issue in GetHuman-rjborman's own words
I purchased a coupon to optical experts at their Avondale location. The coupon costed $**.** and was supposed to provide $*** worth of value in order to complete an eye exam, and purchase frames and lenses for eye glasses. I made my appointment for ********** ( same day I purchased groupon) at **:**a.m. My eye exam went just fine however once exam was completed, it was time to get my glasses which is when I was made aware that they would not allow me to get the regular lenses and that mine would be double the cost of what was allocated (**$) towards lenses as part of the groupon. Along with with the $*** lenses that the associate said were "mandatory" as part of the groupon they allocate $** towards frames, however while looking for frames the associate said they were all out of their small selection of **$ frames. I was told that the most inexpensive option in order for me to obtain a pair of glasses would be a total of $*** ( mind you this $*** option were not name brand) which would require me to pay an additional $*** out of pocket aside from the groupon I purchased already for $**.**. In a nut shell not only did I not obtain a pair of glasses which is the reason I bought the groupon in the first place, since I did not pay the additional $*** ( again they did not have an option to stay within the $*** value set by the groupon) Optical Experts would not allow me to take my results from the eye exam saying " since you have not paid for your glasses we aren't able to provide you with your perscription until that is all taken care of." Again I would like to stress that Optical Experts did NOT give me an option to stay under the $*** groupon value. This was my first time attempting to use groupon and needless to say I am extremely unsatisfied. I feel like I was misled from the start and have read the fine print multiple times which says that you are not able to only get the eye exam, but the problem is that I was never offered an option to obtain the glasses and would have gone to an establishment much closer to my home instead of driving almost an hour to get to avondale and would have paid for the glasses on my own originally had I known I would have to pay $**.** for the groupon along with $*** to Optical experts. I feel like I was misled even after reading the fine print and think it is only fair that I am refunded my money as essentially I received no goods and the service I received is useless because they will not release the results. Please respond to me immediately so we can get this issue resolved!
