RE: Costco.com Order **********I decided to order a washer and dryer from Costco in November for delivery at the beginning of December. The initial delivery would have been great except that the washer was damaged and I refused to accept it. I reached out later that day to Costco to determine what to do for a replacement. I was told at that time that I would need to wait until January for a new washer. I decided this was not acceptable and asked instead that they come and pick up the dryer and I would make arrangements to buy a washer and dryer elsewhere. I even had another vendor scheduled when i was contacted by a supervisor at Costco who I had been working with, Lashawn Parsons. She wondered if I would keep the dryer if I could get the washer replaced more quickly, by December **. I said yes that would be just fine, but I needed to confirm as I had another set in mind. She confirmed in an email that my washer would be delivered on Dec. **. On Dec. ** I even got a call saying the delivery would be the following afternoon. When *:** pm that afternoon came and went, I called the number to check on delivery. After being bounced around to three different representatives, I was told the washer was never out for delivery because it was back ordered until January. This is when I started feeling extremely uncomfortable because I felt I had been lied to, I had lost an opportunity to get another washer and dryer, and I was not closer to getting the one I originally ordered! The delivery company says that the 'customer' called in, which is certainly not true. They say they were called by Costco to simply up the delivery date without the product. I am now furious. I conducted a chat with Costco customer service on Dec. ** and was told I would be contacted by a supervisor. This never happened. Apparently my case is already assigned to Lashawn Parsons, who has also now ignored two emails regarding the appliance not showing up. I did not know enough to get an email copy of my chat from Dec. **, but I have one from the morning of Dec. ** following up and being told I would be contacted by Lashawn Parsons as soon as she was finished with her next call. Two hours later I got on chat again to follow up again, and was told that the only person who could help me was Lashawn so no other supervisor would look into my case. I was also told that chats are automatically emailed, which is another lie! I have started taking screen shots and saved the latest chat. I was told Lashawn Parsons would get in touch with me by the end of the day. I am going on the record with this complaint. It is nearly *pm and I have not been contacted. For the record, I can be reached at ***-***-**** and she has called me on this number before, a week ago to convince me not to return the dryer! I would like to be contacted and compensated for this mess. My husband and I have now spent a combined two days away from work and still need to be home for the actual delivery or pickup! I also do not think the reaction from the Costco supervisor Lashawn Parsons was honest or appropriate because she basically lied and tricked me into keeping the dryer on the false pretense that I could get a washer in a reasonable time frame.
