The membership-based business is fast approaching 120 million members, which is made easier due to very few major competitors. Costco's In-Home Delivery

In-home delivery offers a helpful FAQs page to prevent most delivery issues. Preventative solutions include measuring the space where the appliance will be placed and walking the path to make it easier for delivery personnel to maneuver the item into place. Should you have an issue, Costco encourages real-time solutions, so its website provides a support page for self-service.

To manage your in-home delivery order, navigate to the self-service website and locate the delivery FAQs located on the left side of the page, indicated by the van icon. Select the appropriate link to review important information. For example, to reschedule a delivery, select the link Can I change my In-Home Delivery time window, click on the Scheduling website link and enter your tracking or order number.

Other Delivery Issues

If you experienced a different situation, ask the delivery associates if they're aware of any policy. If not, start the return process online or call Costco customer service agents for help. You can start the return process by navigating to the customer service support page and clicking on the Return/Replace order icon. Choose Return to Warehouse or Return or Replacement on Costco.com. Returning it to a warehouse will expedite the process because there's no need to print a shipping label. You might find that having your original receipt and product packaging will be helpful. Bring the item to your nearest Costco within 90 days.

To begin the return process yourself, log into your account. Choose the Orders and Returns button, and click on Return Items next to the order you're having issues with. You'll be prompted at each step, making the return process fast. Costco also understands that issues can occur, so you can return the items for a replacement or refund for multiple reasons. Incorrect, missing, damaged or duplicate items are some of the issues that can be resolved online.

Depending on the item, you can expect to receive an email with a shipping label, an option to schedule a pickup or an email with more instructions for larger products.
