How Do I Return My Hayneedle Order?
Online shopping is often much easier to complete than visiting a brick and mortar store. However, one con of shopping online is that you don't get to see the items you want in person and there's a chance you end up returning the item. Fortunately, Hayneedle allows returns for up to 30 days after they were delivered. As long as you review the return policy and keep the original packaging, the return process is fairly straightforward.
Based in Nebraska and founded in 2002, Hayneedle is an online retailer that originally focused on home furnishings and décor items. Now, its offerings range from office, home improvements, pet supplies to lighting and kitchen. Purchasing something online to use in your home or office can be tricky, so there are times when what you ordered doesn't fit in terms of size or color. What do you do when you need to make a return? Eligibility Terms
- Most items can be returned for whatever reason up to 30 days after it was delivered.
- Orders placed between November 1 and December 31 can be returned until January 31 per Hayneedle's holiday return policy.
- When you need to return an item, look up the order and then check the return or exchange policy for each item. From there you can start the return process.
The Return Process
- If your item was a gift from someone else, you may need to obtain a gift receipt and create a Hayneedle account. Please review the return policy or contact Hayneedle for more information.
- After you review the return policy for the items you wish to return, obtain a copy of the return merchandise authorization form, or RMA, to include in the return package.
- Return shipping cost may be your responsibility, depending on the reason you're returning the item or items. Shipping reimbursements are not provided if the return is due to customer preference or a change of mind.
- The items for return need to be shipped in as much of their original packaging as possible. Please include your printed RMA slip, contact information, order number, and reason for return inside the package. Please also write your RMA and return address on the outside of the shipping box.
- It's advised to send your return by trackable shipping method.
The Refund Itself
- Once the returned is received, a credit is given in one of two ways. It will be credited to the original payment method on record. Credit or debit cards are refunded directly.
- Store credit is issued to items that were a gift or purchased with a gift card.
