If you're a customer you need to have an account to place orders with DoorDash. If you are unable to gain access to your DoorDash account, follow these instructions.
DoorDash is a great food delivery platform that allows customers to order food and drinks from nearby restaurants for delivery straight to them. DoorDash was founded in 2013 and has become one of the top food delivery organizations worldwide. They have over 2,000 employees and has expanded to over 600 cities across North America.
If you're a customer you need to have an account to place orders with DoorDash. If you are unable to gain access to your DoorDash account, follow the below step-by-step instructions. Steps are outlined below if you forgot your password, the email used for your DoorDash account, if your account has been deactivated, or if you simply want to email DoorDash Customer Support.
If you have forgotten the password to your account, you can easily reset it.
Go to www.doordash.com
Click 'Sign In' in the top right corner of the screen.
Above the password box, click 'Forgot your password?'
You will be redirected to a new screen that asks for your email address. Input the email address associated with your DoorDash account and click on 'Reset Password.' You will be sent a reset password link to the email. Follow the prompted instructions, reset your password, and sign in to your DoorDash account again.
If you forgot the email that is associated with your account, you can try to log in to DoorDash with one of the alternative login options.
Go to www.doordash.com
Click 'Sign In' in the top right corner of the screen.
Select 'Sign in with Facebook' or 'Sign in with Google' and follow the prompted instructions on the screen. This will allow you to sign in to your DoorDash account without having to know the credentials. You will need to know the login information for your Google or Facebook accounts.
Go to www.doordash.com
At the very bottom of the screen, select 'Help.'
You will be redirected to a new page. Select 'I'm a Customer.'
In the 'Ask a question' text box, type in 'Trouble logging into my account.'
Halfway down the page find the question, 'My account has been deactivated. How do I reactive my account?' Click on that link.
You will be redirected to a page that encourages you to file a customer support case if you believe your account was deactivated by mistake.
Select 'File a Support Case' at the bottom of the page.
Note that you will need to provide the following information:
Full name
Email address
Phone number
Under 'Category,' select 'Account Settings.'
Under 'Subcategory,' select 'None.'
For the 'Description,' write 'Request to reactive DoorDash account.'
Select 'Submit.'
A customer representative will contact you within 24-48 hours about your request. You will be contacted with a decision and next steps via email.
If the above options don't work for you, you can try emailing DoorDash Customer Support. The average reply takes 25 hours. Note that DoorDash doesn't have a phone number customers can call.
