What Do I Do If My DoorDash Gift Card Balance Won't Load?

After you receive a DoorDash gift card, you have to redeem it online so that DoorDash can automatically apply it to your next order. Once you redeem your card, you can check your gift card credits online either by the website or the app. If you tried checking your gift card credit balance and found that the balance won't load or that the wrong balance was displayed, you need to figure out what went wrong as quickly as possible and take care of it.

If DoorDash Can't Find Your Gift Card Credits after Redeeming Your Card

If you redeemed your DoorDash gift card and immediately checked your balance only to find that you have no gift card credits, wait for a few minutes. Odds are that the DoorDash system is just taking awhile to update itself. If waiting doesn't change anything, then something may have gone wrong during the gift card redemption process. Contact DoorDash's customer service department for help immediately.

If DoorDash Suddenly Can't Find Your Gift Card Credits

If you have previously checked your DoorDash gift card credits without a problem and only recently found the balance to be incorrect, someone could be using your DoorDash account without permission. Log into your DoorDash account check your order history. If you find orders that neither you nor any other authorized user of your account made, then someone is clearly hijacking your account. Immediately change the account's password to secure it. Then report the problem to a DoorDash customer service representative.

If DoorDash Won't Even Load Your Gift Card Credit Balance

If the DoorDash system hangs up when you try to check your gift card credit balance, check your device's internet connection. If you don't have a good connection, the problem is just that your device can't reach the DoorDash server to get the balance. If you have a good connection then DoorDash's server is most likely the problem. Once again, waiting is your best option. DoorDash's tech department will need a little time to fix the problem. If waiting doesn't help, DoorDash might not even know about the problem with their server. Tell a DoorDash representative about your experience. That may get things moving.
