DoorDash Customer

There are many reasons why you would want to contact DoorDash as one of their customers. It will mostly involve issues with orders and payments. Issues with the DoorDash subscription are also quite common.

The primary method of contacting DoorDash is via the customer chat. You can access the chat using the following process:

  1. Launch your web browser and open the DoorDash website.
  2. Click the ‘Contact Us' tab at the top of the home page to go to the DoorDash Support or Help page.
  3. Once you are on the Help page, you will see three options. Click ‘I am a customer.'
  4. Next, click the ‘Customer Chat' tab.
  5. You will be presented with the option to call or chat with customer support. You will be required to wait on the chat line for at least a minute.
  6. You will be required to submit personal details like your name, email, phone number and problem. Input the necessary details.
  7. Click ‘Start Chatting.'

You should check the customer FAQ page first and check if there is an answer to the query you have. Only when you are certain that there is no answer should you contact customer service.

DoorDash Dasher

Dashers are those who deliver the food from merchant to customer and might need to contact DoorDash as well. The process of contacting DoorDash if you are a dasher is similar to a customer's albeit with a few differences.

The process of contacting customer service as a dasher is as follows:

  1. Launch your web browser and open the DoorDash website.
  2. Click the ‘Contact Us' tab at the top of the home page to go to the DoorDash Support or Help page.
  3. Once you are on the Help page, you will see three options. Click ‘I am a dasher.'
  4. Next, click the ‘Dasher Chat' tab.
  5. You will be presented with the option to either chat with, call or email DoorDash customer support.
  6. If you choose to chat, you will be prompted to submit some personal information. Click ‘Start Chatting' when you are done.
  7. If you choose to email customer support, then you will be presented with a form which you should fill including personal details and description of the problem. Click ‘Submit' once you are done.

DoorDash Merchant

Merchants who sell the food that is delivered by the dasher may also want to contact DoorDash customer support if there is an issue on their end. The process of contacting DoorDash as a merchant is as follows:

  1. Launch your web browser and open the DoorDash website.
  2. Click the ‘Contact Us' tab at the top of the home page to go to the DoorDash Support or Help page.
  3. Once you are on the Help page, you will see three options. Click ‘I am a merchant.'
  4. Click on ‘Merchant Portal' and you will be prompted to log in to your DoorDash account.
  5. You can chat or send an email to customer support from the merchant portal among other things.
