Dell Cyber Monday return, return Dell purchase, return Dell item
Dell discounts many of its popular electronic items deeply during its annual Cyber Monday sale. If you made a Cyber Monday sale purchase from Dell and then realized you shouldn't have, read on to learn about Dell's return and refund policy and its return procedure.
Dell's Return and Refund Policy
You have to return your Cyber Monday purchase within 30 days of the Cyber Monday sale if you want to get either store credit or a refund. The refund you receive will not include shipping and handling fees, or restocking fees. You need to contact Dell's customer service before you make the return. If you try to make the return without getting authorization from Dell first then you cannot get either a store credit or a refund, and Dell will not mail the item back to you.
You cannot return any software unless it is either operating system software or an application installed on hardware that can be returned. Media-based software that is still unopened can also be returned. No EMC- Wyse-brand, or non-Dell products can be returned, nor can any customized products.
A restocking fee of 15% could be deducted from your refund unless the reason for the return is either an error that Dell made or a defective product.
If you purchased the item you are returning using a discount, Dell might deduct the discount from your refund. If you purchased the Cyber Monday sale item along with a promotional item then you must return that promotional item with the original item if you don't want the value of the promotional item taken out of your refund.
Making the Return
Dell will give you your refund after they receive your return.
If you have a question about the item or the return process, you should contact Dell's customer service. It has phone, help desk, chat, and email options.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Dell in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do I Return an Item to Dell from Their Cyber Monday Sale? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible.
