Whether or not you lost your phone, it broke, or you just forgot your Boost Mobile voicemail password, the only way to reset your password is through your online account. Once you successfully reset your password online, you can access your voicemail inbox and change it to any 4- to 7-digit code using any phone.
To begin, you'll need to login to your Boost Mobile account on another mobile device or computer. You'll need your phone number and 4-digit PIN number that you choose when you first set up your account. If you don't remember it, you can call Boost Mobile Customer Service and a representative can give you your PIN number.
Once you're signed in, you'll see your account dashboard. Click on the My Boost menu option from the top of the page. Then, click on My Boost Profile under the Account column. There you will see your personal information and a "reset your voicemail password" option at the bottom of the page. Now, you should see a pop-up letting you know that your password has been updated to the last seven digits of your phone number.
If you've never accessed your voicemail before, you'll need to set it up, including choosing a 4- to 7-digit password. Follow the voice prompts until you're finished.
If you've already set up your voicemail and you forgot your password, you'll need to reset it using your online account. Now you can dial voicemail and input your phone number (without the area code) as the password. Before being able to access the main menu options, any new messages will play.
Once you reach the menu options, press 3 to access your personal options. Then press 1 to change security settings. Here you have several options, including turning your password on or off, auto-playing messages, and changing your password. To change your password, press 4. Follow the voice prompts to enter your new passcode and make sure to press # once you're done.
Once you reset your voicemail password online, you can call your number and wait for the voicemail greeting message, then press * to access your voicemail inbox. Enter your phone number (without the area code) as your password and press #.
After you listen to any new messages you can follow the instructions listed above, as if you were changing your password from your own phone.
