I recently fell victim to a scam that initially started on Instagram and later continued on WhatsApp. Unfortunately, I was deceived into depositing fraudulent checks which led to financial loss and the closure of my bank account. The scammer then insisted on PayPal payments under the guise of facilitating the return of the funds, continuously claiming various fees and steps were necessary. Despite my suspicions, I felt compelled to comply. To make matters worse, the scammer has since created an Instagram account using my information, compromised my Facebook account by changing my profile pictures, attempted to extort money from my family and friends, and even threatened to involve authorities with false claims of explicit photo exchanges. Although I understand the money is likely gone for good, I am eager to see some form of justice served for these despicable actions. The scammer still operates an account in my name, and I am determined to have this account banned to prevent further harm.

I received a WhatsApp message with a face icon from a friend saying they were creating a new WhatsApp group and inviting friends to click on a link and enter a code. I did so, and then my sister told me that someone with my name was asking for money via text. This happened to other family members too. I reached out to WhatsApp through my wife's account, but the hackers had changed the email and set up a 2-factor authentication pin. When I try to get the pin, I do not receive the email. I uninstalled WhatsApp, reinstalled it, and received an SMS code which I entered. I am unsure if this will prevent the hackers from accessing my account.

Hello, I'm frustrated that my WhatsApp account got disabled suddenly without any warning. I have always used it appropriately without sending spam or any inappropriate messages. I have two SIM cards with different WhatsApp accounts: one ending in x853 and the other in x578. Initially, both SIM cards were in separate Apple devices, with the x853 in an iPhone 5 and the x578 in an iPhone X. Due to the iPhone 5 no longer supporting WhatsApp, I moved the x853 SIM to a new Samsung phone but was unable to access my x853 WhatsApp account. While the groups are active, I cannot access them as the sole administrator. Despite having chat backups on the old iPhone, I can't retrieve them on the new phone. I'm hesitant to insert the x853 SIM into the iPhone X for fear of losing data. Is there a solution to regain access to my x853 account and its groups, particularly those I administrate?

I downloaded the WhatsApp Business account using my personal number, which I already used for my personal WhatsApp account. However, I found out my personal account wasn't working. I deleted the business account and reinstalled my previous account, but unfortunately, I noticed all my previous messages were gone.
