I recently reported an account for impersonating me. The account in question is bella._.lovee, which was using my photos and pretending to be someone else. They even admitted it in the comments, using my images to catfish others. Surprisingly, instead of that account being deleted, my finsta account (@whyispramasocool) was removed for "impersonation."
I am very confused about why the fake account of me was not taken down while my own legitimate account was deleted. I filled out the necessary forms and provided my non-government IDs (yearbook photo and school ID) to prove my identity.
Despite multiple attempts to appeal and retrieve my account, I have not received any assistance. I am puzzled by the lack of support and transparency in this situation. I kindly request guidance on how to recover my account @whyispramasocool. Thank you.

My account, which holds sentimental value, was hacked last month. The hacker changed my username to "argeltaweret" from my original name "marissa.gaines" that I've had since [redacted]. The hacker then targeted my other accounts, possibly looking for credit card information. Despite that, they did not use my second account. After contacting Instagram and going through their identity verification process, my account was temporarily deactivated the following day, possibly to remove the hacker. However, Instagram did not complete the process of returning my account to me. I am reaching out for assistance as I wish to regain access to my original account, which contains cherished memories that I don't want to lose by starting over.

I had a concerning experience on Instagram. A user named “theclitbeaters” posted racist content. When I tried to counter this by commenting on their posts, they targeted me and encouraged their followers to report my account “fuego_lars69.” As a result, my account was deactivated on May 18th, [redacted]. I admit to having an inappropriate bio that I am willing to change. My main concern is getting my account reinstated. I hope Instagram takes action against the offensive account. I have been using the Instagram app for two years without logging out until today when my friend accidentally logged me out. Despite trying to prevent the change, I was unable to do so in time. Unfortunately, I have forgotten my Instagram password after always being logged in. I have exhausted all recovery options but have been unsuccessful in regaining access. A few days ago, my account got hacked, and the hacker changed my email and phone number. I received an email about the changes and managed to revert them. Instagram then prompted me to confirm ownership by sending a code to the email and phone number on file, which I don't have access to anymore. After reporting the issue to Instagram, I had to send a photo with a code, username, and full name. After resetting my password using the link they sent, I still couldn't bypass the "confirm you own this account" message. The hacker changed the password again, and even though the account is linked to their contact details, it asks for mine during login attempts. I'm stuck and seeking assistance to reset my password and remove the ownership confirmation message.

My Instagram account was hacked overnight. I quickly realized it when my friends informed me about it. Despite asking my friends to report the incident and expecting an email from Instagram regarding the unauthorized email change, I have not received any communication. Following Instagram's advice on their support page, I reported the issue but have not received a response. I have no Instagram account and typically use Facebook. I received an unsettling email on May 14th about someone attempting to log into an unknown location using my account.
Resolving this issue has been incredibly challenging. After changing my password, I had to download the Instagram app as I couldn't log in online. Despite entering various security codes from my phone, all attempts were unsuccessful, showing an error message and offering no solutions. Resetting cookies simply loops back to verifying my mobile number.
I encountered another issue when trying to send a message through the login problem screen, receiving an error about invalid parameters after filling out the form.

A few months back, I deactivated my account (@vibezvibez) as I needed a break. I indicated I wanted to take a break when prompted. Today, I attempted to log in but was unsuccessful. The system claims my username and email are not found, yet when I try to create a new account with the same email, it states the email is already in use.
