Hello, I am having an issue with my Instagram account "viking_bar_rennerod" where I am unable to change the birthdate. The account was created by my brother using my phone, and he accidentally entered his birthdate instead of mine. I have tried using my personal ID card to change it, but the system is not accepting it.
Additionally, I am unable to add a new payment method to promote my post as I am looking to advertise before launching my new business. I am unable to add the post because of the missing payment method.
Could you please assist me in resolving this issue by changing the birthdate so I can add a payment method to pay for promoting my Instagram account?

Today, I discovered that my account was banned but managed to regain access by requesting a review of the complaints made against me. I suspect the ban stemmed from a post discussing the potential ban on conversion therapy in Switzerland, where I encountered many homophobic comments that went unchecked. I've noticed that certain pages allow such harmful comments to remain while others choose to delete them, highlighting an issue with consistency.
One specific interaction involved someone falsely claiming homosexuality was a sickness, leading to a heated exchange where I sarcastically responded to point out the ignorance and harm caused by such views. Despite my attempt to address the ignorance in a non-hateful manner, I received a ban while the individuals making derogatory comments remain unaffected, which feels unjust.
I have learned not to engage with such individuals moving forward, but I believe my ban for a sarcastic comment after enduring insults is unwarranted. I appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you for your help.

I am writing to report that my Instagram account has been hacked by someone in Abuja, Nigeria. The hacker changed my phone number to +[redacted][redacted] and my email address to [redacted] Upon discovery, I noticed they also altered my handle from CuriousBreeze to jerry_micheal_18 along with other changes.
Upon attempting to secure my account, I was directed to a general troubleshooting page instead of receiving needed assistance. Despite spending over three hours with Instagram support on the night of Sunday, October 3rd, [redacted], they were unwilling to help me regain control of my account, leading to it being compromised once more. My account was banned unexpectedly, and I'm unsure of the reason. It might have been due to rapidly following numerous accounts or replicating actions from my previous account. Despite being blocked from following, I persisted, leading to a recurrent "you've been logged out please log back in" message. Unfortunately, each login attempt resulted in the same prompt. When searching for my account using another profile, it displayed "user not found." Kindly reinstate my access or provide a resolution to revoke the ban on my account (222paradise).

My Instagram account Vorotilova_Olesya was hacked through email. The scammers changed both my email and password, resulting in my account getting blocked. Instagram is stating that they may deactivate it as it was blocked and a confirmation email is being sent to an unknown email address. The email I used for registration was [redacted], which has since been changed. The previous password was Vorotilova.25. I access the account daily using a Samsung A72 in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk region. The registration was done on an Android device. Kindly assist in restoring and returning my account to me.

I recently received a direct message from my nephew, not realizing his account was hacked. He offered me a $[redacted] giveaway through Cash App. Initially skeptical, I eventually gave in as he is family. After claiming to win $10,[redacted] and sharing a video, I was suddenly logged out of Instagram. On September 10th, [redacted], I uninstalled the Instagram app from my phone. The next day, I re-installed it and tried to log in. Even though my password was correct, I was asked to confirm ownership of my account. I believed my phone number was associated as the last four digits matched, but I never received a confirmation link despite numerous attempts. I went as far as submitting a video selfie to validate my identity based on my Instagram photos, which Instagram acknowledged. However, the confirmation page continues to appear, even after I explained the issue with not being able to access the linked number and email. I am facing difficulties, and it's frustrating as I simply want to regain access to my account.

I tried to log in to Instagram using a location link from Google Maps. They asked for my phone number to send a 6-digit code, which I entered successfully. Then, a friend messaged me on Messenger, saying my Instagram account was deactivated. I later realized the 6-digit codes were not from Instagram but from local numbers. Now my account is disabled for 24 hours, and I keep receiving OTPs when trying to log in to Facebook from the same unknown number. I'm hesitant to log in anywhere else and have left all my accounts inactive. I hope to regain my Instagram account and will use two-factor authentication for added security once I recover it.

I am encountering difficulties accessing my Instagram account. Initially, I was asked to verify a Gmail/phone number that I no longer have access to. Subsequently, they requested a verification video featuring me, as my account contains pictures of me. Despite creating the video, I received an email stating they were unable to confirm my identity, even though it is indeed me, and I have owned the account for years. I am interested in reaching out to them to inquire if it would be possible to take and send a picture or video of myself wearing the same outfit as in one of my posted photos, as this should help verify my identity.

This account was really important to me. The post that led to its removal was a meme I had previously shared without any issues. I am devastated as this account meant everything to me, and its removal over a picture of a shirt and a meme that was previously okay is hard to accept. I have always followed the community guidelines, and I urge you to focus on removing harmful content instead of targeting innocent users. I genuinely request the reinstatement of my account.
