I disabled my Instagram account temporarily, "desco_v2," and I am now attempting to reactivate it. After signing in with my password, the 2 Factor Authentication prompted me for a 6-digit code from my Duo Mobile authentication app. Even though the app is linked to my Instagram account, the generated code is not working. Backup codes I saved are also proving unsuccessful. Seeking further assistance, I followed the instructions to email Facebook a photo of myself holding a prewritten code and my account name to verify ownership. However, I have not received a response since September 29th. It's crucial for me to regain access to my account and I am eager to know the next steps I should take. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

My professional athlete account, which is crucial for my equestrian sales and competition job, was hacked in late August. The hacker demanded $[redacted] to return access to my account. They added two-factor authentication to their own device, changed the email address, making it impossible for me to recover the account through the official support site. The hacker tampered with my posts and bio, changed the username, and even messaged my followers to hack their accounts too. Despite reaching out to Instagram support for weeks, I only received unhelpful responses. The hacker eventually deleted my account, erasing my athletic career history and important sales information. My previous username was @faithdavis_equestrian, and it was changed to @officialshelpcenter. I have a disabled account @rissabaeee on Instagram, and I need Instagram to stop blocking me for moving too fast whenever I try to submit my ID to recover my account. I'm unsure if I should wait a few days before trying again to avoid being blocked. I've been on Instagram for 9 years posting nothing but memes and videos. I have formed a community of followers who love my page and even made friends. Instagram disabled/deactivated my page without notice. I do not understand why they did this, but all I want is my page back to continue my work there. My email was mistakenly removed from my account. When I tried to secure my account, it prompted me to verify a phone number that was mistakenly added by my boyfriend. He currently doesn't have access to that number. My Instagram handle is @niyah._raw. I am willing to provide photos or videos for verification. My Instagram account under the handle true.lovee__ was hacked, and the hacker made changes to all personal details such as email address and phone number.
Initially, the account was linked to the email [redacted], but now another email is displayed.
Moreover, the hacker sends abusive messages if I try to contact them via another account.
Until recently, the account was associated with [redacted], but the hacker altered all the account details.

I am trying to log in to Instagram as usual by entering my email address and password, which are both correct. However, after that, a message asking for a security code pops up, but it seems like this code is being sent to an unfamiliar email address. This makes it impossible for me to access my Instagram account. I receive notifications to my correct email address for logging in, but the security code is being sent to a different email address. This email address for the security code does not match the one I used for registration on Instagram.

I have been actively trading Bitcoin when one of my Instagram contacts, whom I have previously video chatted with, started posting about their success in Bitcoin trading. Despite being cautious of scams, I trusted this person. Unfortunately, they fell victim to hacking. They requested personal information like my address, phone number, name, and email. Subsequently, they manipulated my details on all my social media profiles, including Gmail. Despite reaching out to Instagram for help, I received no response. The hacker coerced me into recording a video of myself, under the threat of having access to my personal information and Gmail account. The video I recorded, showcasing a testimonial of purported profits, was uploaded to my Instagram account under the name QueenT_T17.

I recently re-downloaded the Instagram app to resolve some issues. I encountered an unexpected authentication prompt upon logging in, even though I had not set up two-factor authentication (2FA) on my account. After exploring the available options, I proceeded to fill out the support form as I did not have any backup methods in place. Following the submission, I received an email requesting verification of my identity through a photo containing my name and a specific number. After complying with the verification process, I received a response indicating that 2FA had been disabled on my account, even though the login prompt persisted.
