I'm experiencing issues activating my new card. The recorded message states the card is invalid. After waiting for a replacement card for over a month, the card received a few weeks ago also turned out to be invalid. A customer service representative informed me that the card was canceled before I received it. Another replacement card was ordered, but I have not received any further updates since that call. Today, when attempting to activate the latest card online, I encountered the same issue where it's deemed unusable. Upon logging into the DirectExpress app, I noticed that a new card was ordered and being shipped to an address in Florida, while I reside in California. I opted for expedited delivery via UPS, but was mistakenly double charged for the delivery fee along with the new card. The customer service representative I spoke to was unhelpful and impolite, insisting that I requested the card to be sent to two addresses. I tried to explain that I did not make such a request, but he argued with me and accused me of fraudulent activity. When I asked to speak with the fraud department, he mentioned I needed an RS number to do so but did not assist me in obtaining one, leading to further disagreement. It has been challenging to reach the Fraud department as I have been kept on hold for extended periods. It is concerning that someone could easily order and redirect a debit card to another state, resulting in confusion and unnecessary fees being imposed on the cardholder.

I lost my Direct Express card and got a new ID. I was informed I need to send an email to request a new card, but I am having trouble with the email process. I need help to access my Direct Express card to get my funds for rent. I encountered a similar issue five years ago and handled it like this. I'm Mary K Mullins. Someone has repeatedly used my information to request a new card sent to their address. Despite buying a new card for $19, which was shipped via UPS with 2-day service and received yesterday, I cannot reach anyone through customer service to resolve this problem. I have been trying to use my Direct Express card, which I've used for years, to pay for my YouTube Premium membership. However, it keeps getting declined. Despite numerous attempts to contact customer service for assistance, I have been unsuccessful and faced long wait times due to high call volumes. I recently received a new card in the mail, and unfortunately, my nephew opened it while I was asleep and obtained all the information attached to it. He has been using the card fraudulently to make purchases, transfer money to a cash app, and use it as credit. I urgently need to report this card as stolen and used for fraud. My Direct Express card is currently locked, and I have been trying to contact customer service through the 24-hour line for four days now. Despite waiting on the phone for at least one hour each time, nobody has picked up to assist me in unlocking it so I can access my funds. As a result, I am accruing late fees for my bills. I have even visited the Social Security office, but they don't have control over the card issue - it's the customer service line I need to reach. Could someone please advise me on how I can speak to a representative to unlock my card?

I have a Direct Express debit card with Comerica Banking, and I noticed a charge of $48.00 during my transaction review. I am unsure what this charge is for as I only authorize a $25.00 donation from my SSI checks to St. Jude. I contacted Direct Express, but they were too busy to assist me at the moment.

I used an ATM at a 7-11 in Virginia, and suspect it had a skimmer device on it. Approximately $1,[redacted].00 went missing from my balance, which has left me feeling devastated. I managed to cancel my card and obtain a case number. I submitted copies of my ID, photo ID, and Medicare card but have not received any updates. Unfortunately, I am struggling to reach Direct Express as they either keep me on hold indefinitely or disconnect the call. Furthermore, the automated system is asking for a PIN number that I have never had.

This is the third time I've been kicked off. My email address is [redacted] I've explained this already three times. My card was stolen, so I had to cut it off. It was after the 15th before I could go to Social Security with my new card account number and routing to NetSpend. I haven't received my money for this month. The US Treasury and Social Security said to contact you to see if you had released it to the Treasury yet because it's not showing in the system. Can you please help me? I need a copy of my fl.ID to order a new card, but I can't do it on my phone without time or the funds to send the copies to Direct Express.
