Go to the Me Tab on the Verizon App

Did you download the app? Just sign in to the app and go to the Me tab.

Navigate to Profile and Settings

Go to Payment Settings

From the paper-free billing section, change it to On. You can also turn this off if you wish to receive Verizon paper bills again.

Have you switched to paperless billing yet? It’s a great option, as it reduces the risk of sensitive account information being lost in the mail and prevents unauthorized access to your billing details. By going paperless, you can review your bills as soon as they are available. You can also take action right away if you notice any unusual changes or unauthorized charges.

Chat With a Representative

If you need further assistance with turning on paperless billing in the Verizon app, go to the Support tab to chat with a representative. Tap Let’s Chat and follow the on-screen prompts.

You can also sign up for paper-free billing on the Verizon website. To do this, use the steps below.

Sign in to Verizon

How to sign up for paperless billing on the website? Simply sign in to your Verizon account and visit the Paper Free Billing Settings page. Once you're on this page, just select the Enroll button to sign up for paper-free billing. If you want to switch back to paper bills, all you have to do is press the De-enroll button.

Be sure to keep your Verizon profile updated, especially if your email address changes, so you can continue receiving your paperless bills. Although you will no longer receive paper bills by mail, you can still print a copy through My Verizon. Simply log in to your account and go to the Bills section to view and print your bill.

Conclusion

Were you able to switch to paperless billing? This option helps you stay organized by keeping all your bills in one place instead of managing physical copies. Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Verizon Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
