If you have discovered an incorrect charge on your T-Mobile bill, you can dispute the charge with the company to get it removed from your bill. You have a few different options for doing so at your disposal, but you need to go through them one at a time.

What You'll Need

When you contact T-Mobile to begin the dispute process, make sure you have a copy of your bill along with you, so you can refer to specific information from it. If you have paperless billing, you can download and print out a copy of your bill.Make sure you get the name of every T-Mobile agent you talk to during the dispute process, and record it along with the date and time you contacted them, in case you need to verify what you were told or offered with a different member of the company. If you have already paid the incorrect charge, you can ask for a refund. However, you may instead get a credit applied to your next bill instead of an actual refund.

Call a T-Mobile customer service representative and tell them about the charge you wish to dispute.

To dispute the charge in person instead of over the phone, continue with the next step. Otherwise, skip to step 6.

Go to the T-Mobile store locator page.

Write a letter describing the situation with the charge and requesting arbitration.

Include your T-Mobile account number and phone number. Include the names of any T-Mobile representative you have previously spoken to about the charge and what they told you.
Send the letter to: T-Mobile Customer Relations, P.O. Box 37380, Albuquerque, NM 87176-7380.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for T-Mobile Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
