The issue in GetHuman-iversonf's own words
My sister and I made purchases today (********) BASED on a sign stating * for $** or $* ea. In the register it came up as...* for $** and a single tank was $*. We didn’t see the mistake until we left the store.*Our receipts (based on the sign of * for $**) should’ve rung up as $*.** for * and $*.** for * NOT $** for * & $* for *! THERE WASN’T A SIGN STATING * for $** anywhere!!! *When we went back to the store, the clerk on register * came over to help as it was busy. She wasn’t trying to NOR did she listen to what I was saying. What the clerk did do was walk away and told another clerk to wait on me because .....“I told her and she don’t understand what I’m saying so maybe you can get through to her.”*Totally unacceptable!!!! *I’m a paying customer who wanted to know why I was charged more! **. The deal on the sign was a better deal than what was in your register and *. Per the clerk....that works in that dept....the sign has stated * for $** for quite awhile. **. The clerk from register * NEVER called anyone to ck the price. What she attempted to do was make me look stupid. *I’m a Supervisor and I know when one of my workers make an error I ck out the details first. *I told the * clerks who were in Customer Srvc that I was BEYOND TICKED because of the clerk from register *. If she didn’t want to assist them, go do something else. I didn’t appreciate her lack of patience or concern. *Elizabeth and the other clerk (she’s expecting) who worked the Customer Srvc desk took the appropriate steps to find out what the sign stated & reimbursed me and my sister the difference. *Can you remind your clerks to LISTEN? * *I could’ve been wrong....but she wasn’t listening. Perhaps she had to return to her register or had a long day or whatever....I don’t know* but, listen to what the customer is saying. *I worked retail years ago and it’s stressful at times. I also found out mistakes can and will be made but things can be worked out if we learn to listen.
