The issue in GetHuman-mollypir's own words
I brought my ** year old daughter to Target today to outfit her college dorm room. We had heard that today only Target was offering a deal online. $** off orders of $*** or more. We went to our nearest Target store to look at the items she needed. We then placed our order online and left the store confident that everything was going to be fine. We touched and held each item she wanted as we added to her online order. When we came to pick it up there was a problem. A set of sheets was missing. Her order no longer totaled over $*** and we lost the $** discount. We found the sheet on the shelf and went to the Order Pick up area and present the sheets and asked if they could add to her purchase. They credited my daughter's gift card and attempted to re ring her order. At this point we had been waiting for over ** minutes as the team member looked for guidance from other staff. We continued to wait as the team member helping us learned gift card can take up to either *A. ** minutes, or *B. ** hours to have the credit put back on the gift card. **Needless to say, we left very disappointed and felt the experience took a significant part of our day when we assumed it would be a more efficient way to stock her dorm room. And, we get to go back to Target tomorrow hoping that the two managers who assured us they would honor the $** off purchases over $*** if ordered online. I will let you know what happens.
