The issue in GetHuman890224's own words
Engage Amazon Video (now referred to as Prime Video). I tried from the Amazon button on the remote and also directing the set to the icon. Each attempt resulted in being returned to the Home screen. ... We have a ROKU TV by LG(****). Amazon Video was an imbedded option. I have an Amazon Prime account. Recently the Amazon Video logo changed to Prime Video. Now, calls on the Prime Video logo or Amazon button on the remote simply returns to the Home screen. No error code.
The Amazon Video is available on my computers. I am wondering if at the change in the logo icon if there was a change in the associated IP address. If so, how can this be resolved?
Either an update to the access or a method of addressing a direct internet call on the ROKU would be helpful.
This is my first ROKU device. If this cannot be remedied, it may be my last.
I have contacted Amazon to report the issue in the event that the problem is on their end, no response as yet.
