I bought a pair of $*** Nikes and a $** pair of Adidas at the outlets in Orlando, FL the day before going to Universal studios. I knew I'd be doing a lot of walking in the park so I opted to wear the expensive Nikes instead of the cheap Adidas believing that Nike was the better product. It had to be, right? Afterall they were *** dollars. Boy was I wrong! Within an hour of walking in the park the sneaker on my right foot had rubbed the top of my foot raw. I don't know if the stitching that holds the tongue in the shoe was done improperly or what, but it only effected my right foot. The left shoe seems fine. A**Anyway, I went back to my hotel room, changed into the cheap Adidas, and returned to the park where I walked over ** miles without issue. I tried the Nikes again today with a thicker pair of socks and that did not resolve the issue. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed with the quality of these sneakers and would like Nike to swap them out for a new pair that they can guarantee are defect free.
