My **** Federal taxes were still in process. The IRS has not contacted me as described in their policy as written and explained online. The IRS received the return on *-*-****, which was ** days (** working days which included * Federal holiday) before I called. The IRS agent was EXTREMELY rude. She said my taxes were pulled for further review. When I asked what type of review, she said she didn’t know and couldn’t help. She said it was my responsibility to figure it out after getting the letter. I asked when the letter was sent. She couldn’t give an answer. I set up an online IRS account. My taxes were processed on *-*-** and pulled for review. The account clearly showed the letter wasn’t going to be mailed until yesterday which was more than a week after I called. *NO RESOLUTION for questions...only unprofessional and unnecessary rudeness. I shouldn’t expect help for simple questions I asked the IRS. If I can see the information, I know she could. NOTHING BUT FRUSTRATION and expecting the Federal Government to shut down because of the virus outbreak.
