If you are in need of a repair you will need to call HP. First, check your warranty to see if the HP is covered, if not, call in and you may need to pay for the item to be fixed.

I just received my laptop back after the second time of having to send it for repairs. I had two complaints - overheating - which they did replace a thermal part - and a constantly running noisy fan. The loud constant fan is what I had an issue with the previous time and that had been replaced. Anyway, the fan is still constantly running - not as loud as before but it should be silent for the most part. It also is still getting warm. My receipt says extensive testing was performed, but I am still not happy with the noise because I think it will just get louder and louder and more annoying over time like the last two times.
GetHuman-tracyhba did not yet indicate what HP should do to make this right.
