The issue in GetHuman-pbernini's own words

My phone was stolen and I was sent a replacement by my carrier (T-Mobile). I went through the start-up and syncing process. All of my photos from my old device had been backed up in my Google Photos and I could see them on my computer, so I was relieved to see them still there. When I installed my back up of What's App on my new phone, it copied all my What's App photos to my gallery, and now there are only those photos in my Google Photos. Where are all of my photos??
