GameStop,*I am writing you as a pre-litigation warning that we are intending to pursue collective claims regarding business practice violations and intentional misrepresentation false advertising claims regarding your used hardware, in violation of Oregon’s Unlawful Trade practices law.(ORS ***.***)*We had purchased three used Xbox one wireless remotes, having to return*exchange them three times now because of constant connectivity issues, broken*malfunctioning axis thumb *****, inoperable LT and RT buttons due to plastic fragments floating inside from previous user, and directional pads that won’t function unless you use extreme levels of force.*This is despite GameStops guarantee that these are tested and guaranteed remotes.*You guys don’t even clean them, the last two were literally caked in filth despite being **.** each. Then you sell insurance for additional ** bucks that’s non transferable when you have to return the remote a week later because you guys do not actually test them.*Essentially GameStop is collecting any and all hardware and marking up and lying to consumers about testing and guarantees, when GameStop knows traders are turning in crappy faulty equipment.*I am done going to your stores, humiliating myself to re-return these controllers.*This serves as my ** day constructive notice before filing claims against GameStop, as we are currently speaking with a couple consumer firms about this widespread practice of GameStop.*If you need to reach me, you may email me at Bryan@PacificWander.com*We have made seven total purchases and return*swaps in total with gamestop.
