I was given * discover gift cards from my job that are worth *** points ($***) and ** points ($**) On Tuesday Oct *th I tried placing an order on gamestop.com so that I can get the items in before my granddaughters birthday party this weekend (October **) I got the confirmation order and then another email comes right after saying they are reviewing the order and it can take up to ** hours and if there is a problem or any issue they will get in contact. I never heard another thing so last night (sunday oct **) I checked to see the status and when it will be arriving and it cannot be found. its not in my order history it was not charged to the card and the confirmation number is non existant. I cant find it anywhere. So again I place the order and AGAIN the same thing happens I get the * emails and now I am trying to contact customer service because I called discover and they said the problem is not on their end and now im being told the wait time is over ** minutes. It took me almost ** minutes to find the number to call in the first place because of all the mumbo jumbo **** going on through the contact page and now im being told I have to wait ANOTHER ** minutes?! this is RIDICULOUS! after I get off the phone I will be ordering from FYE and be taking my business there or amazon from now on because this is absolutely unacceptable. if there was a problem, I should have been notified IMMEDIATELY I shouldn't be finding out when im trying to look it up almost a week later! if this was amazon I would have had my stuff on Friday and if there was a problem I would have known within minutes. im shocked you guys are even still in business
GetHuman-rafterco did not yet indicate what GameStop.com should do to make this right.
