The Customer Service Employee I spoke too over the phone for direct express sounded like he hated his job. Don't like your job then get a new one! He had zero customer service skills! this is someone that constantly has to put on the happy face for a customer. unacceptable behavior on his part. He forced my father to talk to him in English instead of recommending or transferring him to someone that spoke Spanish. So many of Direct Expresses customers are Spanish speakers why do they not have an option to speak to someone in Spanish. Especially now a days most card companies have a customer service option in Spanish. All my father wanted was his bank statements this humiliation and standoffish attitude was not needed. As the card company chosen by the government to provide funds for the Disabled and SSA RECIPIENTS their service should be outstanding, not this sub-par nonsense!
