Good afternoon My name is Miguel Mendoza, and the reason I’m reaching out to Direct Tv Is to express how disappointed and dissatisfied I am with the customer service and all the departments I was transferred to in order to try to fix My issue. I had disconnected the service about * month ago and decided to explore My options. I received a call from a Direct Tv salesman on **-**-** and was asked why I had disconnected the service after so many years of being a loyal customer. I informed the representative that Direct Tv had gotten to expensive and I discontinued the service. The salesman offered me what I felt was a good package and agreed to be a returning customer. We scheduled for the technician to install service for the date of **-*-** from the time frame of **-*. I took the day off work for that Monday to wait for the technician to arrive and at about *:**, I received a call from the technician informing Me that he was at My old address and was never given My current address. The technician advised me to call Direct Tv to inform them of the confusion and apologized because he didn’t service My area where I am currently living at. I did as requested and called Direct Tv and spoke to the customer service department and this is where things got even more frustrating and complicated. I was informed that there was nothing they could do only reschedule Me for another date. I informed the representative that I had called the day off work to wait for the technician and this was not okay from My end. After going in circles with the issue I agreed to reschedule for the date of **-*-**, from the time frame of **-*. The technician once again never showed up or gave me a call to ask about My installation or address. I called customer service around *pm to ask what was going on. The representative seemed careless and made the excuse that the technician probably couldn’t find My home and all he can do was reschedule me once again for another date. I informed the representative that I was very upset with this matter and it was not okay that I had to call off * days of work to accommodate the technician who never showed up. I also informed the representative that it made no sense that Technician couldn’t locate My home because there was no attempt from anyone to contact me in regards of this matter. Once again the representative seemed careless and just kept on with the rescheduling. I asked to speak to a manager and he informed Me that he was going to place me on hold once again and at this point I told him I was going to call right back and perhaps I would’ have to be on hold for so long like I had been with him(** minutes on hold). I immediately called back and I got transferred to the customer care department where I proceeded to talk to a person by the name of Susan. I informed her about everything that had happened and she then transferred Me to another department which I then started talking to a representative by the name of Alvaro. He immediately apologized for My inconvenience and promised he was going to get this issue taken care of. Mr. Alvaro, granted me another *** visa gift card for My trouble aside from the one I was supposed to receive for being a returning customer and we agreed to once again change the date for rescheduling. We scheduled for the next day **-*-** (TODAY) and was guaranteed that the technician will come to My house and activate service. So today My wife took the day off work to meet the technician and once again never showed up. I called Direct Tv customer service and they didn’t even know where to start from and after an *:** minutes of being transferred to several departments I was told that I was going to have to reschedule again for the date of **-**-**. I informed them that this was a ridiculous matter and it’s very sad and upsetting that the Direct Tv salesman was the one to reach out to me for My business and a technician was never sent out to My home like promised. I ended canceling all the order completely. To whom it may really concern it is upsetting that Me and My wife had to take days off work to accommodate the technician that never showed up and that the customer representative failed to fix the issue or Honored what was told to me. This is extremely unacceptable and very bad for Direct Tv business.
