Hello, I recently booked a round trip flight, but there has been a schedule change. I received an email stating that I might be able to cancel due to the flight time change. I am interested in canceling if I can get my airline miles back without a fee. My flight confirmation for one leg of the trip is GYFEAG, from RDU to MCO and back from MCO to RDU, scheduled for 07/27/19 to 08/03/[redacted]. If it's possible to redeposit my miles without a penalty, I would like to proceed. If not, I will need to discuss it further with my husband. I appreciate your prompt assistance. Thank you.

As a loyal Delta SkyMiles member for many years, I have faced ongoing challenges with my points expiring and not being credited when I fly. Despite multiple attempts to address this with Delta, the issue remains unresolved. Most recently, on March 16, [redacted], I tried to use my points for a trip but was informed that I had no points. Furthermore, I discovered there were two accounts in my name, leading to confusion about my earned points. Although a representative promised to merge the accounts, I have yet to receive confirmation of this. My partner received his travel itinerary promptly while I still haven't received mine, despite the flight being booked on December 3, [redacted]. As I recall a past incident from [redacted] where points were not credited after a trip to Athens, Greece, I am left frustrated by the lack of resolution despite the courteous service provided by Delta representatives. It is disappointing that my points have not been credited, account not corrected, promises not fulfilled, and an itinerary not issued for my recent booking. I seek guidance on what to do next, as my efforts to resolve this issue have been unsuccessful.

Hello, I made a booking with Delta on Feb. 6 to fly from Detroit to LA on Mar. 22 and return on Mar. 24. However, when I tried to Check In online on Mar. 21 around 7:00 pm, I was informed that my ticket was cancelled. The Delta agent mentioned that the travel agency booked and cancelled the ticket, and I would need to repurchase it at a significantly higher price. I received my receipt and eticket from the Delta agent immediately after booking on Feb. 6. I am confused as to why Delta has no record of my initial purchase date. I find it concerning that Delta cancelled my ticket without my consent due to actions by a third party. Additionally, I am puzzled as to why Delta insists that I did not book through them. As a reputable company, it is important to uphold a strong business philosophy and ensure customer satisfaction. Thank you, CK Kim

Hello, I'm Matthew Stanton. I recently made flight reservations from Vancouver to Jackson Hole for May. Unfortunately, I lost my job, causing immediate financial strain as it was my sole income with no savings to fall back on. I reached out to Orbitz.com, where I booked the tickets, but they informed me that Delta Airlines' policy doesn't allow for a refund on my non-refundable ticket. Given my changed circumstances and lack of financial stability, I can no longer afford this trip and won't be able to take another one for the next year. This sudden shift in my situation has left me without any financial safety net. Unsure of what steps to take next, I'm hoping for assistance. You can reach me at [redacted]. I would greatly appreciate any help. My Delta confirmation number is G2GRZP.

I am inquiring about the upcoming Spring Break travel rush next week and its potential impact on Delta flights. Specifically, I am seeking information regarding Tuesday, March 26th. The first flight I am concerned about is DL7364 scheduled to depart from GJT at 6:45 a.m. and arrive in SLC at 7:44 a.m. This is important as there is a connecting flight, DL1194, departing from SLC at 8:36 a.m. with an arrival in PDX at 9:40 a.m. My wife, who is elderly and disabled, will be traveling alone. Any significant delays on this date could pose challenges for her. I am worried that alternative flights later in the day will result in extended wait times in both airports, requiring prolonged wheelchair assistance. I kindly request your advice on how best to handle potential flight delays to minimize any inconveniences for my wife. Please let me know if providing her name, confirmation number, or SkyMiles account information can facilitate priority assistance in the event of flight disruptions. Your prompt email response is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Dear Mr. President, I am Salvatore R. DiFazio, a member of Delta SkyMiles. I recently booked a flight from JFK to FCO using points on Air France and will be returning from FCO to JFK on Delta Airlines flight #[redacted] on October 16 at 12:50 PM. My ticket number is [redacted][redacted]. I am requesting an upgrade for myself and my wife, Ellen DiFazio, from economy to Delta Comfort. In the past, we have paid approximately $[redacted] per person for this upgrade. Despite contacting Air France, their frequent flyer program, and Delta Airlines, I have not been able to make this upgrade. I noticed that there are Delta Comfort seats available for this flight online. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. S. R. DiFazio

In February, I mistakenly booked two round-trip flights from St. Louis, MO, to Boise, Idaho on April 19th through Expedia. I am unsure how this happened as I only intended to book one flight. I am able to use one reservation but the other, unfortunately, cannot be transferred or refunded, resulting in a loss of over $[redacted] to me with Delta. Expedia has been unable to assist in this matter. Although I acknowledge a refund is not possible, could I receive credit towards a future flight instead? Booking under Itinerary #[redacted][redacted]. Thank you for any assistance you may provide. - Susan J.

Traveling from Augusta, Georgia to Chicago Midway on March 7, [redacted], for a funeral was a stressful ordeal. The flight got canceled due to two lights not working, forcing a long wait for a replacement plane to arrive from Atlanta. Missed connections in Atlanta led to an overnight stay and early morning shuttle back to the airport. Ultimately, a flight to O'Hare was taken to attend the funeral in Joliet, IL. This unexpected series of events caused frustration, lack of sleep, stress, and additional expenses. A refund for both tickets is requested due to the disruptions faced during this journey. - Lauree & Jenna Hall

Two members of our family were involuntarily bumped from an overbooked flight last night and placed on flight [redacted] departing from Atlanta this morning. Despite being instructed to arrive at the gate two hours early, we were not assigned seats. The current gate agent is being unhelpful and has advised us to wait until just 5 minutes before departure to check seat availability on the screen. This lack of customer service is unsatisfactory. We require assurance of our seating arrangement on this flight as we have been separated from the rest of our family in Denver. Additionally, we seek clarification on why we were instructed to arrive early at the gate, departing from the usual airport policy.

I am a member of Delta's loyalty program and appreciate the benefits of earning miles for their extensive North American flights. However, I have faced three unfortunate incidents in the last three months which have left me disappointed with Delta's service. During a business trip to Vermont on January 28th, [redacted] (Confirmation: GPI3VQ), my check-in luggage did not arrive, leading to inconvenience. On March 22nd, [redacted], for a vacation to Seattle (Confirmation: GPPL4L), my flight experienced multiple delays totaling 5 and a half hours, causing frustration. Today, March 31st, on a work trip to Vermont at 11:50pm (Confirmation: G8H9DM), my luggage was once again lost, further adding to my dissatisfaction. I have tried contacting customer service to address these issues, but only received unhelpful advice. I believe my experiences warrant compensation and a direct conversation with a Delta representative to resolve these ongoing problems effectively.

I recently discovered that an eCredit I had was expired when I tried to use it. This was a result of confusing the expiration dates for two eCredits. Delta confirmed it expired three weeks ago. I thought it was valid until May 7, but it actually expired on March 7. I am disappointed that I didn't receive any notification about the pending expiration. Even Air France sends reminders about expiring miles. I travel frequently on Delta and would have used the credit if I had known it was expiring. I hope Delta can assist me in this situation. My eCredit number is [redacted][redacted], and my Skymiles number is [redacted]. I am a 3 million miler Diamond member.

On 3/7/19, my flight departed from Boston. During the flight, I was required to check my carry-on luggage which contained over $60 worth of juul pods. Unfortunately, all the pods leaked, which was very disappointing since Guatemala does not sell them. Moreover, one piece of my luggage did not arrive with me and was only delivered the following evening, causing inconvenience during my stay. I feel that considering the amount I paid for the trip, these issues should not have occurred. I lost $60 worth of juul pods and one of my luggage pieces, leaving me without essential items for my stay. I hope to receive some form of compensation for these mishaps as my experience with Delta on my trip to Guatemala was quite unpleasant. Thank you for your attention. - Michelle C.

I have a flight booked departing from Elmira, NY on Friday, 5-10-19, with Flight [redacted] to Detroit, MI, and then on to Charlotte, NC with Flight [redacted], arriving at 3:48 pm. I am curious if Delta Airlines uses the same flight numbers for every day of the week for each destination. I noticed my friend, who is on the same route but travels a day earlier, has the same flight numbers. As a first-time self-booker, I want to confirm that my flights are indeed for Friday, 5-10-19, and not Thursday, 5-9-19, to avoid any travel mishaps. I am seeking reassurance to ensure a smooth experience. Thank you for your prompt assistance and quick response.

I recently flew from OGG to LAX in First Class on DL2222. I've encountered issues with Flight Attendants in the past, but this time was different. Randy, my Flight Attendant on Delta, was exceptional! He was courteous, thoughtful, and professional - a true ambassador for Delta. I was so impressed by his service that I had to share this positive feedback. Randy's efficiency and care for all passengers make flying a great experience. He truly deserves recognition and maybe even a training role for other flight attendants. Thank you, Randy, and Delta, for the wonderful service. Meirion P R Davies, a loyal Virgin Gold Member. I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional service provided by Delta Airlines during my son's recent flight delay and overnight stay in New York City. He was traveling alone from Europe to Chicago and faced multiple delays, ultimately requiring an overnight stay. Delta assisted him in finding a nearby hotel and arranging his return to the airport the next day, where he was even treated to coffee and bagels while waiting for his flight at JFK. Without even inquiring about expenses, Delta proactively reached out to me and informed me that they would be sending a $[redacted] reimbursement check to my son, which we received promptly within 3 working days. We deeply appreciate the proactive assistance and generous compensation provided in a challenging situation. Thank you, Delta, for your outstanding customer service, ensuring our loyalty to your airline in the future.

Regarding flight DL5765, our scheduled departure at 8:05 am was delayed due to a mechanical issue causing a two-hour delay in our departure to Arizona. The situation was exacerbated when attempts to fix the part resulted in severed wires, lengthening the delay. The lack of timely detection of the issue before boarding is concerning; this is the second time within a month that I've experienced mechanical problems with Delta after boarding. I am dissatisfied with the handling of the situation and expect better service. If such issues persist, I will reconsider my choice of airline. I am eager to know how this matter will be addressed promptly. [redacted]

On September 13, [redacted], my husband and I had round trip flights booked from PHX to LAX. Sadly, due to my father's passing, we had to cancel our trip. Upon contacting Delta, I was informed that I could use the value of my tickets within a year. The representative instructed me to keep my ticket information for rebooking purposes. Despite trying online, I couldn't retrieve any details using my name, confirmation, or ticket numbers. I need to rebook soon and would appreciate guidance on the next steps. Thank you, Robyn Tobey Becher

I encountered an issue with my flights, where I mistakenly booked the first leg at the wrong time and had to cancel my flight into Nashville. Unfortunately, I later discovered that this cancellation affected my flight out of Knoxville. I am disappointed because I believe I should have been given the option to keep my return flight. I was unaware of the cancellation until now, and I believe Delta should ensure I am placed on my original return flight from Knoxville to Detroit. This situation has left me feeling very upset and frustrated.

I am currently at the Delta lounge in Phoenix International Airport, which appears to be a new location. As a frequent Delta flyer who often spends hours in various lounges, I must say that the staff here is the worst I have encountered. The bartender, Ryan, has displayed a terrible attitude and engaged in inappropriate conversations behind the bar. Additionally, he continuously pushes the napkin holder into my laptop, seemingly because I am in his way. This behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect well on Delta's standards.

Dear Delta, I am reaching out as an active duty Marine interested in potential future opportunities with your company. As I plan for my transition from the military in a few years, I am keen to explore career options with a company like Delta, given my positive past experiences with your service. Currently pursuing a degree in psychology with plans to pursue a Masters, I am eager to prepare and enhance my qualifications for a potential role within your Human Resources department. Any advice or guidance on certifications or areas of focus that would strengthen my candidacy in the future would be highly valued. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, David Bombard
