I have been a customer of Comcast since it was Gill Cable in San Jose, CA (approximately ** years). I have been fairly happy with Comcast's service and products. I have been paying top dollar for the premium package of channels, which includes almost all the channels, except the sports package and foreign language channels. I have been paying approximately $****month for the last seven years. Three days ago, I clicked on TCM and got a message saying it is "not authorized". I assumed it was a technical glitch so I called Comcast customer service. I listened to a recording that stated, "If you are calling about TCM, it is now part of a sports and entertainment package and must be purchased separately". So, we had an agreement and I paid for TCM as part of a package until the end of this month. Then, you (without notice or negotiation) failed to fulfill your end of the bargain and just shut off TCM from my service. Apparently, you are trying to take advantage of the fact that TCM is a very popular product and the sports franchises are in trouble right now so you want TCM customers to subsidize them. Well, I do not want a sports package and I will not be forced to purchase one to obtain TCM. I have already paid for TCM until the end of this monthly cycle, so I expect a refund for days I did not receive this product. If you are going expect me to purchase a sports package to obtain TCM, then you may cancel my service immediately.
