I reserved a room with booking.com for the sea banks motor inn on******. We checked in around *:** and put our clothes in the room and got dressed for the beach. We returned about an hour later to find the swat team at our motel with an active drug bust in * of the rooms. We tried to find the manager to tell him we didn't feel safe and wanted our money back but could never find him. Someone happened to come unlock the office and said the manager was busy. We packed our stuff back in our car and when we shut the door the lock switch plate fell off the door adding to our fear of what may happen to us in the middle of the night. There was about a *" gap underneath the door. It was a very scary place. We tried several times to find the owner or manager to no avail so we left the key cards on the desk after someone came in the office. Because they were not the owner or manager they couldn't print the checkout form. This is not actually a motel for vacationers because most of the people we talked to while trying to find out what the swat team was doing there, actually lived in the motel. Because we did actually check in the owner of the motel won't refund our money. We were only in the motel room for ** minutes, went to the beach for an hour and returned to find the mess and turned the keys in.
