Hi, *On October **th I placed an order on the *pm website.*The order was to be delivered on October **th.*I received a call from Amazon Logistics stating that the carrier couldn't find the address and wanted me to call back as I couldn't answer the phone at the time they had called. I then check my order from *pm and found that the status of my order was, "held by carrier and delayed".* I called Amazon back confused as I was not expecting anything from Amazon but expecting my package to be deliver by any other carrier. At this point i had no clue that Amazon was a carrier, and when i looked up at the detailes of my order i found out that the carrier was AMZL , so finally I could understand why Amazon was calling. *So, I called Amazon and was nothing but hoops to get through. They asked for my address which it didn't match the one they had. I had to remember my old address from * years ago and I failed to remember the zipcode which made it more difficult for anyone to give me any info about my package.*I called * different times at the *th time I got to talk to a gal named Amanda S. It turned out that Amazon was using my old address to deliver my package from the Seller *pm. My order from *pm clearly has my new address. ????*Amazon, did not follow the new address place in the seller's label, instead, was going back to an old account back to ****, which I even forgot I had. Amanda made a note and she even pulled out a map giving me step by step to get to my address and sent a message to the carrier to attempt to deliver later or tomorrow which it was today.*I thanked her as she was the only one able to help.*I later checked the status of my order and it said that my package was now being return to the seller!!!!*I again, called Amazon, nobody can't find the tracking number, they can't figure out what happened so I called * more times to talk to someone different and finally I got to talk to a gal that told me that I needed to change my address on the Amazon account. Then, I couldn't remember my password and she transfered my call to someone else to help me with this issue as it was not allowed anymore to change passwords but I could change my email address????*My husband finally got home and changed my password on my Amazon acct. And deleted our previous addresses still as I was on the phone with this person and then she hung up on me.*I then had to call the Seller *pm to get a refund on an order that was on the last pair of shoes size *. *I spent hours trying to figure out how to fix the problem in total frustration.*The problem here logistically speaking is: **. If Amazon is being used as a carrier, they should follow the address printed by the seller, instead of going back to old accounts through Amazon. Which may have old addreses, and outdated info.*And *. Looked like the carrier was on such a freaking hurry to send back the item to the fulfillment center to send back to the Seller. *There was no *nd attempt to deliver, there was no interest of problem solving to get the package delivered whatsoever.**Costumers like me that have old accounts through Amazon (which are not active) that order someting from sellers that use Amazon as a carrier, have no clue that Amazon won't deliver if Amazon uses its own file to look for addresses instead of using the addresses printed by sellers.*That is really an issue and it doesn't look good or do any good to your company or to us, I think this is a big issue that needs to be fixed. What about costumers that don't even have an account with Amazon? *Are their packages going to be held and return? Or Are they actually going to be deliver by following the sellers address printed on the label? **And no attempting for a second delivery really messes up with our expectations as a costumers, not only because we are expecting something to be delivered that we need, but the lack of professionalism from your part now leave us with no trust.**I hope these problems are taken in consideration to be fixed. I lost my shoes and my trust. Next time I order something would be over the phone requesting not to use Amazon as a carrier.
