The issue in GetHuman-berly_'s own words
In May, my ** yr old Samsung S** was acting weird* dropping calls, completely shutting down, freezing. I called ATT many times to be told that it has a hardwire problem and cant be fixed. I was advised to just use my upgrade and get a new phone. All fees would be waived and I would be able to just roll my remaining S* payments over to the new device since it was a harddrive issue and nothing that I did wrong. No upgrade fee. Nothing!! Lies! I go pick up the phone, immediately charged $**. Then charges for upgrade fee and new device fees start popping up. So everything they told me wasn't supposed to be charged, was charged. By then, the ** day return date was passed. After trying every day for a month, everyday, I was finally given permission to return the device and be refunded my monies. Again, lies. I returned the phone only to be charged $*,***.**. Taken out of my bank account. I called some more. Finally was told that a credit resolution case needs to be opened, and in * days I would be called back. Again, lies. I called them and it took Janelle *:**:** to tell me that my case was resolved and the funds were going to be reversed back to me within **-** business hours. Once again, lies. Turns out Janelle is a liar. They are not going to reverse my money and somehow I owe ATT $*,***.**. Crazy how I SOMEHOW OWE THE EXACT AMOUNT I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE REFUNDED!!! After almost ** yrs I am understandably no longer a customer. And I need to speak to someone about this whole crazy situation. Any help is greatly appreciated.
