What You'll Need

To qualify for a refund:The part must be returned within 30 days of purchase.The part must be in its original, unmarked packaging.The part must be undamaged.The part cannot have been installed or used in any way.The cannot be modified in any way.Shipping costs are only refundable if the reason for the return is due to a mistake on RockAuto's part.Liquids that have been opened, such as paint or oil, do not qualify for return or refund. Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded. If the part or the manufacturer's packaging is damaged while in transit during the return, the part will no longer qualify for a refund.

Parts returned after 30 days may qualify for a replacement if they are under a manufacturer's warranty.

If you don't have a printer of your own and can't access another printer, you can get your return label by asking an employee at the store you are shipping your return to to print one out and send it to you.

Go to the RockAuto home page.

Click on the Log In link in the upper right corner of the screen to log into your RockAuto account.

Click on the Order Status & Returns link in the upper right corner of the screen.

Enter your email address or phone number and your order number in the text fields at the top of the screen.

If you do not know your order number, continue on with the next step. If you do know it, skip to step 7.

Enter your email address or phone number in the text fields at the bottom of the screen under the Order Look-Up header and press the Send Order List button.

Check your email or wait for a text from RockAuto containing a list of all your orders and the associated order numbers.

Go back to step 4.

Click on the Find Order button.

Click on the Arrange a Return / Report a Problem button.

Select the number of parts being returned from the number drop down menu.

Select the reason for the return from the reasons drop down menu.

Answer the questions you are asked.

Make a copy of the return instructions you are provided.

Print out the return label.

Package up the part in accordance with the instructions.

Ship the package back to RockAuto in whatever way the instructions mandate.

Once RockAuto receives the return, it will begin processing your refund.
