Click on the “Edit” button, which allows you to change the title, description, and other details of your campaign. Make the necessary edits, and then be sure to save your changes to ensure they are updated on your page.

GoFundMe has an optional tipping feature that allows donors to support the platform directly. The tip is not required, and the exact amount you choose to give is entirely up to you. If you see an additional charge, it may be due to the tip you selected during the donation process. To avoid any additional fees, simply set the tip amount to $0 when making your contribution. This way, you can contribute the intended amount directly to the fundraiser without extra charges.

When a beneficiary passes away, the funds in a GoFundMe campaign typically go to the designated withdrawal account. If the account is set up in the deceased's name, additional steps may be needed to withdraw the funds, such as providing documentation like a death certificate and proof of your relationship to the deceased. GoFundMe may also allow for funds to be transferred to a family member or another designated recipient. It's important to check the specific guidelines provided for managing funds in such circumstances.

If you issue a refund to your donors, they will receive 100% of their contribution back. GoFundMe does not retain any processing fees from donations that are refunded. However, processing fees may apply to any donations that were not fully refunded.
