I currently have an old GoFundMe account connected to my current Facebook account. The issue is that the old account is linked to an outdated email I don't use anymore, making it impossible to log in and detach it from Facebook. I am hosting a benefit for Chase Cygan, and Gina Cygan, his mother, is using my information to raise money on GoFundMe. It has been nearly a month since my son passed away, and I've been attempting to reach out to GoFundMe. His older half-brother created a GoFundMe page without my knowledge to raise funds for my son's funeral expenses. Despite my intention to organize the fundraiser, I was informed that his brother had already done so. We were meant to have a two-day wake in North Arlington and bury him there. We managed to collect over $20,[redacted], but his brother used $4,[redacted] to cover funeral expenses and the rest for his personal needs. I strongly believe it is unfair that I had to cover the costs while others donated for a different purpose.
