Follow these easy steps to add a person to your Comcast account.
Comcast is an American telecommunications company with headquarters in Philadelphia. The company was founded in 1963 as American Cable Systems before rebranding to Comcast Holdings in 1969. The organization is the largest cable TV company and home Internet service provider in the United States. Comcast offers its customers services for home phones, mobile phones, and the Internet. If you're a current Comcast account, follow the steps outlined below to add other people to your account. Note that Comcast customers have Xfinity accounts.
This is a great option if you prefer to choose the individual's username and password.
Sign in to your account with your username, email, or mobile number and password.
At the top of the page, click 'Users.'
Your current user portal will be displayed, select 'Add a New User.'
Click 'Create Credentials' and then 'Continue.'
Fill out the form with all of the new user's information such as their first and last name, a unique username, and a password for their account. The password has to be between 8-16 characters with no spaces and contain at least one letter and one number or special character. Select 'Continue.'
You can now choose what kind of account access you want to give this user. If you keep billing permissions toggled to 'Off,' you're only granting the new user basic account access. If you toggle billing permissions to 'On,' you allow the new user to view, manage, and pay your bill. Make your selection and press 'Continue.'
Set up a secret question and answer for the username and password recovery process. Select 'Create Account.'
A confirmation message will appear on the screen and you will receive a confirmation email. Send the user their login information so they can sign into their new account.

Note that the user only has 15 minutes between entering their phone number to enter the verification code.
Once the user confirms their identity, they will be prompted to set up their account. They can choose their own username, password, and password recovery method.
Note that if the user doesn't accept the invitation within 72 hours, the primary user of the account will have to resend the invitation.
If you're having difficulties adding a person through either of the above methods, you can call into the Comcast service line. Explain your problem to the customer service agent and ask them to walk you through some troubleshooting steps. If they are unable to help you troubleshoot, ask them to add the second person to your account on your behalf. You should receive a confirmation email once the process has been completed. Keep the agent on the line until you receive the email and review it to ensure everything looks correct.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do I Add Other People to My Comcast Account? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
