How Do I Return the Wrong Book Back to Chegg?

Chegg sells inexpensive textbooks. If you ordered a textbook got the wrong one sent to you by Chegg, just read on to learn how you can return the book and get a refund.

Chegg's Return Policy

You can return the book with no questions asked for a refund less the original shipping costs, as long as you make the return within 21 days of the purchase. To qualify for the refund, you must return the book in the same condition as you received it. You can return any digital book with no questions asked if you make the return within 14 days of the purchase.

If you cannot remember exactly when you purchased the book, you can check the order confirmation email you received when you ordered it, to make sure you are returning the book within the time limit.

Returning a Physical Book to Chegg

1. Go to Chegg's home page.
2. Click on the Sign In link in the upper right corner.
3. Sign in to your account.
4. Click on Orders.
5. Select the book that you wish to return.
6. Select Return.
7. Print out the UPS shipping label.
8. Put the book in a box.
9. Attach the shipping label to the box.
10. Take the package to your local UPS store.

Returning a Digital Book to Chegg

1. Go to Chegg's home page.
2. Click on the Sign In link in the upper right corner.
3. Sign in to your account.
4. Click on Orders.
5. Select the book that you wish to return.
6. Select Return.
7. Follow the instructions you are given to complete the return process.
