Check Status of delivery
Your Caviar delivery can be tracked through the app. When you first place your order, you should be given an estimated time of delivery. Of course, this may vary, or there may be a slight delay. If you want to check the status of your order, you can do so by going to the order confirmation screen. Here you'll be able to see what's happening with your order, it will either be being prepared by the restaurant, or it will already be made and be out for delivery. On the confirmation screen, you'll also see an estimated delivery time, and this will be updated if there are any problems such as restaurant preparation times or delays caused by traffic on your delivery route.
It's worth noting that the estimated delivery time is Caviar's best estimate. The company can't guarantee that your order will be delivered at this time.
Live order tracking
You can also use live order tracking to see where your delivery is. This option is available in your app and will allow you to follow the progress of your order via live tracking. This will give you the most up-to-date status and tell you exactly where your order is. To use the live tracking option, you can look below the status bar on your order. Here you'll notice that there are buttons that give you options to either call or text your Dasher (delivery driver).
You should also note that delivery drivers/ Dashers aren't always able to reply to your calls and texts. They need to keep themselves safe and must also obey the rules of the road. Delivery drivers won't be able to answer their phones or text while driving.
