Of course, an account will need to be created before you can use this delivery service. However, creating an account is simple and can be done as a part of the order process. Customers are able to place an order and create an account within the same transaction.
Create an Account
People who want to use Caviar for delivery will need to start by downloading the app or accessing the website. They will be prompted to give their location first. Then, they will be able to choose from the retailers/restaurants featured on the site. Customers can choose from the retailers and restaurants available on the site and place their items in the cart. Once customers have selected all of their items, they can go to checkout. At checkout, an account can be created. You can use Facebook, Google, or Apple to set up an account. An email address is a requirement as well.
Place Your Order
After you have set up your account, you can continue with your transaction and purchase your items. You will have the option to place an order for immediate delivery, or for future delivery. You can select the date and time and then place your order. Customers can take advantage of Caviar's no-contact delivery and easy order process and have the option to place orders for immediate delivery or delivery up to four days later. Scheduled orders can be placed on the website or on iOS. However, scheduled orders aren't currently supported on Android.
Track Your Order/Request Help
Caviar customers will be able to track their orders and request help if they have any issues with delivery. You can check the status of an order or request help by logging into the app and selecting the order in question. You will need to use the email address you used to register to log into your account. If you access the website, you will need to log into your account using an email address as well. Once logged in, you can check the status of an order or request help. There's also a chat option if you need more help or have additional questions. Customers can access the website or use the app to keep up with their orders.
