Sign in to your Apple account and locate the item you want to return from your recent orders. If you have your order number, you can also enter it along with the email address used for the purchase, then click Continue to view your order details.
Locate the item you want to return, then tap Check Return Eligibility.
On the next page, click Get Started to begin Apple's return process and follow the on-screen instructions.
Check the item you want to return to Apple and tap Continue.
Before printing your return label, be sure to read Apple's return instructions on how to return the item. In most cases, Apple will provide a prepaid return shipping label, which means you won't have to pay a shipping fee. Simply print the label and be sure to securely attach it to the box.
Depending on your location and the item you're returning, Apple may also offer the option to drop off the package at a designated location or even schedule a pickup. If these options are available, feel free to schedule a pickup or return the item at a drop off location. Otherwise, click Print Return Label to continue with the return process.
If you're returning multiple items to Apple, be sure to print a separate return label for each item. Simply repeat the same process by selecting the item you want to return and clicking Print Return Label. Attach the correct label to each package to help ensure your return is processed properly.
For customers in the United States who would like a replacement instead of a refund, you may be able to bring the item to an Apple Store. If the item is eligible for return, Apple may offer a replacement, subject to in-store availability. To save time, consider calling your preferred Apple Store in advance to confirm that the replacement item is in stock.
Were you able to start the return process and print a return label? Be sure to ship it to a UPS store and get the tracking number. Apple will start the refund process as soon as they receive the item you shipped. If you paid with a credit or debit card, expect the refund amount to be sent within 5 business days. Did you pay with an Apple Gift card? Apple will email you a gift card too. For exchanges, simply contact an Apple Store. Do you have other questions about returning an item to Apple? GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers.
