One of the payment options offered by AT&T is the ability to choose a payment date for your U-verse bill. To set this up, go to AT&T’s Payment Arrangement page and select “Schedule Payment Date.” You’ll be prompted to sign in to your AT&T account. From there, simply follow the instructions and review the payment calendar to select a date that works for you.
Take note of the confirmation number after setting up a payment arrangement with AT&T. We also suggest taking a screenshot. Also, note that payments are usually processed at 12 a.m. Eastern time.
If no available dates appear, you may not be eligible for this option. In that case, it’s best to contact AT&T to explore other payment arrangements you may qualify for.
Have you set up AutoPay for your AT&T U-verse bill? If you’re arranging a payment extension, make sure to pause AutoPay for the current billing cycle to avoid duplicate charges. Also, keep in mind that payment arrangements can only be changed before the scheduled date. After this, you'll no longer be able to change it.
If you don’t qualify for a payment arrangement, AT&T may be able to help lower your U-verse bill. You’ll need to contact them directly, either by calling the number shown on the screenshot or by using their chat support.
When you reach out, ask to be connected to the Loyalty or Retention Department. It can also help to mention competitor pricing, as this may give them more flexibility to offer discounts or adjust your plan.
You might also consider enrolling in AutoPay to receive a small discount or bundling your services to take advantage of promotional rates.
If you still need assistance paying your AT&T U-verse bill, consider visiting a physical store. An AT&T representative can walk you through available payment arrangements or help you explore other ways to manage and pay your bill.
To find the closest store, simply enter your ZIP code or state and click Search. We recommend setting up an appointment first to save time.
Were you able to set up a payment arrangement with AT&T U-Verse? Do this online by signing in to your account, as it’s the quickest and most convenient option. While you can also contact AT&T by phone or chat, a convenience fee may apply. Also, keep in mind that late fees apply if you fail to pay on the agreed date. If your service has already been suspended due to non-payment, a reconnection fee may also be required. For any other questions about payment arrangements, reach out to AT&T U-Verse Customer Support for further assistance.

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers.
