I downloaded the app about 2 to 2 1/2 years ago. I changed my [redacted] once due to inactivity, and have been using it regularly since. Yesterday, I followed instructions to clear cookies on my Android phone and inadvertently ended up with a different [redacted] on my iPad than the one connected to it for eBay. I seem to have lost my original number on my phone. I no longer recall the email or password used when creating the account initially. Three months ago, I noticed that my $6 credit disappeared from my account where I'm on the unlimited text and talk plan for $13.99 a month. I had issues getting my phone to work and had a chat with Bryan at TextNow. I requested to change my billing date to the 1st or 2nd of the month since that aligns with my fixed income. However, I was shocked to see a red banner stating that my service was suspended due to billing issues today, which is the 31st and not the agreed-upon date. This situation is causing me stress as I can't reach out for help easily.
Upon checking my bank statements, I discovered that you've been charging me $20 instead of the agreed $13.99 monthly fee. I would appreciate it if you could unsuspend my phone and adjust my account to reflect the missing $6 credit. I woke up this morning to find that my phone number is no longer on my account. The Text Now app was turned off, prompting me to sign back in, only to realize I had forgotten my password. I recently ordered a phone and service from TextNow on August 30. The delivery was scheduled for Tuesday, which was fine given the holiday. However, I received a message from UPS stating it was delivered on August 31 at 4:06 PM to someone named The Customer Man without a specific address, just the city and state. As the only male in my household and not arriving home until after 7 PM, I believe it was delivered to the wrong address. UPS informed me that the shipper needs to file a complaint to investigate the delivery. I was unexpectedly charged for a premium text service two days before the supposed 30-day free trial ended. The charge of $40 was made on September 17th, despite the trial starting on August 19th, which I never signed up for. I have no use for this service as my nephew accidentally used it on my phone, and I have a regular phone plan.
